Development Leader for Digitalization with Technical Focus

Description

As a development leader for digitalization with a technical focus, you are a key person in the digital development of the Rescue Service Storgöteborg. You lead projects and assignments where operational needs meet digital solutions. The work is done closely with development leaders in project management and enterprise architecture, as well as other functions within development and digitalization. Together, you identify needs, drive concrete deliveries, and coordinate system management of both new and existing digital solutions.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead projects and assignments within digital development and system management, and contribute to the strategic digitalization efforts
  • Translate operational needs into digital solutions and participate in technical dialogues with teams and external parties
  • Act as a technical requester close to development teams and participate in requirements specification, procurement, and implementation of new systems and services
  • Coordinate and develop system management and lifecycle management together with the organization’s system owners and managers
  • Strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity efforts and contribute to robust and secure IT solutions

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you are development-oriented, responsible, and see the big picture without losing important details. You create structure even in complex contexts and collaborate well with others by engaging and involving them. You solve problems quickly and are confident in driving processes forward and changing working methods when necessary.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant post-secondary IT education and experience in digital development and leading projects or assignments in the field
  • Experience working closely with development teams, for example as a product owner, technical requester, or developer, with a good ability to understand technical issues
  • Knowledge of system management, lifecycle management, and technical areas such as digital identity, interoperability, or frameworks
  • Good understanding of information and cybersecurity
  • Ability to communicate clearly, pedagogically, and tailored to different target groups

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Further education or certification in information or cybersecurity
  • Experience working in agile environments and with agile methods
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in complex environments
  • Experience working in the public sector

Other Information

We place great importance on personal suitability and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis. Your employment will include military placement at the Rescue Service with general service obligation, which means you are obliged to serve in the event of heightened preparedness or war. Before employment, alcohol and drug tests, as well as psychological work tests, will be conducted according to the organization’s policy and in collaboration with our occupational health service.
